Caramelized Onion Jam
Gluten free, vegan
This onion jam was invented after tasting a commercial version and knowing I could do better. It took some trial and error, but after several test batches the right recipe and procedure were discovered.
Use onion jam as a meat grilling sauce, from the jar on cheese and crackers, in a stir fry, or on anything in need of a little more intense flavor. WARNING: Once the jar is opened it will be gone in no time!
Ingedients: Yellow onions, fresh garlic, white wine, wine vinegar, sugar, grapeseed oil, Rosemary and salt and pepper.
