Muskoka Mustard Pickles

This tasty and colorful pickled broccoli and cauliflower mix has the Muskoka name to differentiate it from the Down East recipes you would find in kitchens in years gone by.

I grew up in New Brunswick where this type of pickle was offered regularly. This is my own take on it, with just a little more tumaric and spices to make it even better for you.

Enjoy these pickles with any meal to add interest and flavor to your plate.

Ingredients: Fresh broccoli and cauliflower, onions, vinegar, pickling salt, corn starch, sugar, dry mustard, turmeric, celery seed.
